Welcome to my site. JoeBlown is a name I came up with as my first name, and I build a lot of my motors with blowers. It just seemed a natural fit. I have been building models for 40 years. As a kid I would listen to Oakland Raider football games on the radio, with Bill King calling the games, and build models. I am now retired from a lifetime of Auto mechanics. Sort of a forced retirement due to disabilities. I was/am a mechanic. I have worked on everything from Chevy's to street rods,VW's to Fords. I was a mechanic on the Champion Speed Shop Twin Engine dragster. Not the original from the 60's but the clone we built and ran a few years back on the nostalgia circuit. The best shop I worked in did work for Roy Brissio's . We would do A/c work, trouble shooting, and some repair work for Roy. Customers would also bring their street rods in for repairs. They could afford them but we fixed them (and couldn't afford them. With my experience in the real auto and drag racing world I can put real details in my builds.
